Arrieta is situated on the north eastern coast of the Lanzarote, about 35 kilometres to Arrecife, and forms part of the municipality of Haria.
The name Arrieta is derived from the municipality´s name and means little Haria.
Arrieta is a quiet fishermen’s village, just recently discovered by tourists worldwide due to its lovely landscapes and endless possibilities. A very special place indeed. This small town is the perfect place to relax. Whether you would like to escape to the picturesque La Garita beach for a nice swim or snorkel, or have a cup of coffee and read your favourite novel to the sound of the sea. Although we believe Arrieta has something for everyone, it can get quite busy in the summer season. However on most days it is a very quiet and friendly town where one can really feel what it means to be Canarian.
